A related suggestion: When the DC is reduced to 1 because of proficiency and ease of the check... why waste time on a dice roll that can't fail? This happens a lot with the illithiad persuasion checks. I can't imagine many would have an issue with removing the roll when DC is 1. And I think this is inline with what has been saying about "I shouldn't even be bothered by a dice roll if I have created a super persuasive character".
