I usually name my first characters in games as Micolash (it suits BG3 theme even, khe khe), he will be charismatic rogue thief with some points in wis, folk hero tempts me with animal handling but in final game it will be probably sailor or criminal for roleplaying.
Born as son of the local prostitute and unknown drow-father. Mother named him Micklaus. The street raised him, there he found new family in local kids gang. Fast hands and silver tongue let him earn recognition among the criminal element of the city. After few years of hard work of depriving others of their valuables, he has finally joined the respected guild of thieves.
As his criminal fame rose, he made enemies among the Flaming Fist and his rivals. The noose slowly tightening around his neck made him leave Baldur’s Gate. Micolash, as he changed his name, signed up for the ship, hoping to leave troubles behind. How wrong he was.
