This is a review after 4 play through EA, on MacOS 11.0.1.
---
The good:
1. This EA / Act 1 is surprisingly content rich. It completely blow my mind. Hope the following acts are at the same level / size.
2. Stories / missions handling is very good. I can do stuff completely out of order and NPC dialog still cover it. For example clearing duergar before seeing myconids sovereign and cleared the whole goblin camp before releasing Halsin. Dialog system was able to handle them. I think I did everything out of order in my 3rd play through. The only thing I haven't try is blowing up the whole camp during celebration, LOL.

The bad:
(Technical) MacOS full screen mode, including fake full screen, will give a white screen. I can only play in windowed mode.
(Technical) Reloading frequently crash the game. For me, game crashes around 5 or 6 reloads.
(Technical) Armor "see through". This one is strange. It does not always happen, even at the exact same location, even in cinematic, sometimes happen, sometimes not.
(Technical) Cinematic camera angle can be very strange occasionally. I think in occasions I only see trees and grass, and in underworld characters are overlay with blue sky @.@
(Game play) Inventory system, from character back pack to camp storage, is a pain. Item stacking is not consistent.
(Game play) Loot selection box in the middle of the screen is so annoying. I always have to move camera left or right so I can click on next target without closing previous one.
(Game play) Really need a way to look up and down. For example fighting phase spider when they keep teleporting to the web on top of your head, that was pain. Same thing for fighting enemies on cliff.
(Game play) Insight check(successful) is easily missed, especially when camera is not "homed". You missed it, look back, visual clue is gone and there is no way to make character check again.

The wishes (game play):
1. Option to skip prologue if already done it once.
2. Option of auto closing previous one if another container is opened? Also remember where I moved it before, not middle of the screen.
3. All items should be auto stacking, and consistently. I don't need to see 3 rows of 1 x alchemist's fire and then a stack of 9 and 2. And I can't stack them manually now.
4. Multiple sections of items when moving/sending/selling.
5. Camp inventory:
- auto sort into different locations. For example all readable items should go to desk area, weapons go to rack, keys to rings, jewelry to safe, and explosives go to bunker, etc.
- option to show inventory as list (and sorted), not just icon, so books can easily be found.
- display more items, not just 5x4
6. Camp trader? Maybe only appear during long rest? So we can sell junk easier.
7. Insight(successful) visual show again? Or some kind of log in the combat log?
8. "Dialogue" show full history, not just history of current session.
9. Better looking armor. Seriously, Even the refugee tieflings have better looking gear then us >.<
10. Show how much hp each kind of food can replenish. Oh, can we prep food in camp, like apples into apple pie, so we don't have to stand in the middle of the road and eat 10 apples to regain 16hp ...
---
The wishes (technical):
1. Pause the video, or even the whole game engine completely if game is not active, maybe make it an option in setting. Now I can still hear the fan going even I minimize the game.

Others:
- I have some very basic knowledge of D&D, like dice roll. However I still make the mistake(?) at lv3 -> lv4 and not selecting feat and just go with the default?
- Not sure if it is intended, or because the current limitation of EA, the only way I fight now is stealth mode, or fight inside fog, else always end up in a wipe. Maybe because I didn't choose fighter class. The 1st play through I left Lae'zel in camp all the time, 2nd play through I killed her because I didn't want to kill the 2 tieflings. Maybe next play through I will try fighter class.
- I sold all the boots at the beginning as I need gold and as they provide no benefit?! So all characters fight with bare foot 80% to 100% of the game?! LOL!
