Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Help Tips & Tricks New install Baldur's Gate 3, game doesn't start after crashes

I just installed my (just bought) Baldur's Gate 3, from Steam.

At first, the start-up kept crashing (I couldnt even start the game), telling me something about DX11 drivers (versus Vulcan).
I then upgraded my Windows (7, admittedly old) DirectX drivers to version 11. I checked my graphics card -> Intel HD 3000, with DDI 10.1 version (whatever that means).

Now, I can't even get the Baldur's Gate 3 to start, ... when i click 'play', the game merely hangs....

Any experts/advice would be appreciated!
