On top of turn based mode, separate the rogue from the party and cast invisibility + cleric stealth buff. It is fun to watch how the vendor who is being robbed repeatedly every time runs to the rest of your party who tells him they have nothing to do with it.
Also works great when you know an ambush is and you steal all their loot before fighting them so they don't have them for the fight. Invisibility for the win!
