I'm not a big fan of the "bad guys only" story line, nor the sexual advances. I don't mind a romance option, but I've got to consider not letting my kids play if it doesn't clean up a fair bit. Maybe a preference switch?
They gay vampire elf needs to develop some gaydar as well, and be a bit less persistent. I was able to pick a gender from my dream person. I'd think they would give a hint. We are supposedly mind-linked after-all.
I'm really hoping for some more race and class options soon. how about Goblin and Hobgoblin? It would certainly require some changes to the Druid Grove
game mechanics, seems nice so far, but I can't finish the first section without some serious bugs popping up. I've got one play-through bugging out in the under-dark and another in the burning inn. I wasn't expecting perfection from a pre-production product like this, but I expected a bit more from my $60 than this. I was expecting to be able to finish the first part of the story. Do I even try again? probably not the "around the corner" patch goes live.

It would take very little to make it much more widely acceptable.
From what I've seen so far, romantic encounters could be easily stripped from the game with minimal impact on the existing story line.
Blood pools are excessive from a scientific standpoint as well.

Other things I have noticed about the game that I assume everyone already knows;
the 4th level feats are broken.
My wizard can learn cleric spells.
Warlock feats don't all work.
Turning certain people into spore zombies breaks the game.
The dowry ring thing is broken.
The primary character keeps jumping needlessly of high areas.

another one of theses threads...... All the origin characters are player attracted, not straight/gay. You impressed astarion and you were hitting on him while talking about the stars. The game is rated M, the game doesn't need to bend to your puritan wishes. Don't want your kids playing mature games? Don't allow them. Other things I have noticed about the game that I assume everyone already knows;
the 4th level feats are broken.
My wizard can learn cleric spells.
Warlock feats don't all work.

The dowry ring thing is broken.
The primary character keeps jumping needlessly of high areas.
1. Most of the 4th level feats work. 2.Most classes can learn 2 cantrips and 1st level spell from the cleric/warlock/wizard feat 3. rest are correct.

I was so excited for this game, but I feel its just DOS2.5 with some D&D skin swaps. I am disappointed we arent hearing anything about character import/export from one game to another. I hated the forced companion designating in the DOS games. I hate the thought of having to only use my character in one game. It sucks. Here is hoping modders figure that part out as the game I have been looking forward to this for like 17 years (since the original 2 BG games). The combat is fun except for DOS-centric barrell-mancey and the ground effects from............every...............single............battle. Its fun to a point but im just so blah about the character import function not being confirmed. I hate the whole "you got something terminal in you and have to spend the entire adventure getting rid of it/succumbing to it". Cant we just be adventures going on an adventure like every single D&D campaign? Hoard of the Dragon Queen, Curse of Strahd, Storm Kings Thunder, etc etc etc could have all been used as a template or even as the campaign itself. But whatever, lets make it where we are the "chosen" person in this world, but only one of us if we painstakingly decide to play with others, were we can be bland NPC's or Bland "Mercernaries". Its not a bad game, but its not D&D.
Also please dont comment how bringing a higher leveled character in messes up the combat, its not hard to begin with and who cares? I want to use my characters in my games as I see fit. Anyone can block anyone else from playing them. So where is the big deal? This has been done in all the D&D games before this one. NWN 1&2, BG 1&2, IWD 1&2, the Dragon Age Series, Mass Effect, etc etc etc. Just stop giving me a headache about your ignorance.

Are you saying you want your character imported from bg2 to bg3?if so, you can't be serious The character you played in bg2 is dead(lorewise) his name was abdel adrian. The events of bg2 to bg3 is around 100 years after. Bg2- was second edition, bg3 is 5th. Not too mention, they are made on entirely different engines and by different companies. There is No mod thats going import anything.

Man, I've watched True Blood, I get he is vamp hedonist and evil psycho. It is just about this yellow marking misleading thing. If somebody want to bang Astarion then it is ok but some people don't really like him at all.

I though I learned 2nd lvl cleric spells with the wizard as well, but I haven't played DnD since the 2nd edition, so I might be way off on what are cleric and what are mage spells.

"i feel uncomfortable playing this game with my son" posts; why not have the game more universal? From what I've seen; the sex isn't vital to the story by any stretch as far as I made it. If it was intended to be Leisure Suite Larry with swords and spells, the advertising wasn't accurate.

It puts all the pieces together. His master(a vampire Lord) is sending out people to retrieve him and bring him back. Without talking to him, you'd have very little information besides that he looks like a vampire

It feels like he's forcing you to sleep with him. With a neutral attitude, Laezel also flirts with you, but no one girl for some reason does not cry about this ‘harassment’. Both of them do this because of their personality. Anyway, at a party, I talk to all my companions, regardless of yellow signs.

Ekhm, I understand that aaaand people complain about them all being horny at tielfing party, you can search threads. It is not about just Astarion or Laezel. Yes, he's vampire, she's githyanki. Proposed fix that will skip all "no" lines. I really don't like repeating myself countless times...
