I think it's just playing hard to get.. Has anyone tried sending the patch flowers or hobnobs?
Or maybe it's one of those patches we're just supposed to appreciate from a distance. "Notice how the undertones of the patch convey the psychological destitution of an era fanned by the ignorance of unknown truth."
I can't believe I didn't see it. Now I am struck by the meta of it all.
This is the Shadowheart patch. Of course our initial attempts to understand it were rebuffed.
