Hi! I just started looking at these boards today and found the link to change your skills in the game...I messed up mine by spreading them out too thin in the beginning (I just wanted to see what everything did), and now I just want to get rid of the unnecessary ones...I have no interest in the "redistribute" part. When I tried the program, it didn't seem to work correctly--the old skills I didn't want disappeared, but the new ones that I wanted never showed up. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

In iZakaroN's SaveEditor you can just remove the points in the skills you do not want; they will be added to your unused skill points. Once you re-load the game, you can then use them on the skills you do want.
To test skills out, it is easier and safer to save first, then put points in the skill. That way, you only need a re-load to undo it if it doesn't suit you.

Thanks a lot for the reply, I appreciate it! However, I already tried that...For example, when I saved the new dat file, I had not put any of the points in...I should have had 9 free points when I loaded my game. Then I opened up the game again, and the points weren't there! Maybe I should try rebooting? Help a lost girl!

Dudette, tyvm. Yes, I fell in love with this game fast! I've been playing it with practically all my free time for the last week hehe. The graphics and sound are amazing, and there is so much to do! I won the game today with my warrior hybrid...next I'm going to try the Survivor, and make her a pure rogue. Woohoo!
