The current difficulty of EA is good for now. There are differing opinions on whether it is too hard or too easy, but that's not what I'm trying to draw attention to.
As we progress further into EA, our characters will gain access to some really good spells and features that they are currently missing. When these options are brought to the table, we will have not only greater versatility, but overall increased damage output, that I'm worried will leave some encounters feeling trivial. The difficulty adjustments are currently skewed to contend with parts of classes and not the whole package.
I'd just like to bring this to Larian's attention now, although I'm sure they already have this in mind. It will save a lot of time spent balancing encounters, if they start tweaking them as they add new features into the mix, as opposed to waiting until they see the results.
