Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Patch #3 made the game unplayable.

Ever since the new patch I have been getting game breaking errors during the automatic saves. Every time it tries to auto-save; I get an "failar to delete file" error, the game freezes, and the save file gets corrupted. I have tried both DirectX 11, and Vulcan. I have re-verified the files, and reinstalled with no change. I dont want to start another thread on this subject because there are already so many, so I post it under here, I hope thats ok: since patch 3 the game is unplayable for me because I am experiencing crashes literally every 10 minutes. I cant make out what exactly caues them, since all of them so far happened in completely different areas and in very different situations.

oh, and I dont mean crashes where the game just closes itself, and you can send a nice crash report afterwards. I mean crashes where the game freezes, I cant tab out anymore, then after 1 minute I get a blue screen of death and my whole commputer shuts down.
