Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Suggestions & Feedback Body Types, Please?

I hereby once again, ask Larian to add body types to the character creation:

1- Skinny
2- Normal (that would be what we already have available)
3- Ripped (for very athletic)
4- Muscular (like Halsin)
5- Overweight

For BOTH men and women. Yes, I'd like to create a female Halsin. Otherwise, BRAVO on everything else, it looks absolutely amazing and beautiful. I adore this game.

Also, does anyone know if this 3rd patch continues the story past the Towers quest? So... after the boat ride at the end?

It may take some time for Larian to add this though, as they'd have to adjust all the armor models accordingly.

Given a choice between more body types or more outfit variety, I'd go with the outfits. Hoping for both though

One of the few things I really liked about SWTOR was the 4 bodytypes. It was a good touch.
It's also the easiest way to build meshes / apply armour to. So +1 from me too.

And I was thinking 5 as well, it's something that should've been on the docket. I hope it gets added.

Make them bound to stats.


Every 5 Str stats, the characters gets more buff. ^^

Let's be honest, the armor models as they are now are, as far as I can tell, only modeled for male/female and otherwise simply stretched to match a race's model. Look at male dwarves.

I do find myself in need of more thicc & rotund lads in char creation, so +1

While I think sliders would be better than just fixed body types its certainly better than nothing.

Yeah, sliders was my initial thought, but I have the feeling types would be simpler/easier to implement. But what do I know.... not really game-making expert. But yeah, slider would be awesome.

Yeah, more immersion, right? But then we are "slaves" to our stats, and that would take away from the whole "wanting your character to look a certain way", regardless of class, etc.

Unique NPCs with only one armor fitted for them are not really what I consider "already in the game".
