[ UNAVOIDABLE MILD SPOILERS, but I keep it limited ]

The passage under the Selune ruined temple, also known as the current 'goblin camp', is the coolest !
You have to search the rooms quite a bit in there, but worth it.

I had fun doing the floor puzzle (which sadly can be bypassed, but I shall say no more: NO spoilers here please).

It leads down to a special defensive gate created by worshippers of Selune, to block the creatures of the underdark from coming up through the temple.

It does not mean the "welcoming committee of the underdark" is more friendly than the well drop, but it is a much cooler experience in my opinion and you can plan ahead ...
