I see your point but, to be fair to DragonMaster69, I was wiped by that mama spider the first time even though I have tons of D&D 5e and CRPG experience.
I was level 2 :P, totally surprised, and stuck in a dead end ! The second time (multiplayer) and third time (sp), with better positioning and levels 3+, it was fine.
Of course, there is an obvious trick once you know the place a bit, but I do not want to spoil the tactic.
