Yeah I saw this myself and am very excited. Don't care about all the cynicism and sniping, I'm really looking forward to this game.

As for Solas, I agree they are not likely to allow us to side with him outright. But I agree the option to change him and move him in a "good" direction may be available. And if that is so, I would definitely take it because in Inquisition I've had him as a really good friend right up until his betrayal. His reactions to the PC in this context when you meet him later is just fantastic writing.

Dorian is a very interesting prospect as well. I played a straight male Inquisitor, and even though I rebuffed Dorian's romance option I subsequently became very friendly with him, so much so that at the end of the game he tells me a bunch of stuff about how I'm like a brother to him and in this way the best relationship he's ever had with anyone. Another example of some stellar writing in that game imo.
