The problem is with my gaming laptop Gog.com and the game Baldurs Gate 3.. profile
Gaming laptop bought on Black Friday considerable discount November 2018:
MSI GP63 8RE-651NE I5/8/1128/1060
CPU is Intel I5 4 cores 8 threads Processor Base Frequency
2.30 GHz
Max Turbo Frequency
I dont know but more then 3Ghz
Nvidia GeForce® GTX 1060 with 6GB DDR5
8 GB RAM
SSD is to small for games...
Game installed under 1 TERA harddrive.
OS: Windows 10
I run at 1080p (FULL HD) resolution my monitors support that resolution. I have noticed the game is not stable at this computer with maximum settings specially the Crypt area.
I have switched to basically set everything to Medium to run it at more stable...
Game bought from GOG.com. I do not run game under Steam.
I have had huge issues lately hopefully this is related to Gog Galaxy is updating... I know when it is done.
Anyway problem I started today Baldurs Gate 3 and noticed there was no save games under my normal profile
and it had created a profile named
Debug_Client_Profile_1
I could not even load any campaign save game.
Well I created a new campaign and one save game under
Debug_Client_Profile_1
What I did the backup of Debug_Client_Profile_1 folder where I found it..
After that I copied everything from my normal player profile to
Debug_Client_Profile_1
and it worked I could now load my saved games from my normal profile and I could also save new games to my default profile.
Everything fine now? No after all this performance issues huge even low setting run the game bad.
However I keep a little hope this is related to annoying Gog.Galaxy that wanted to force update...
Any suggestions what I should do if does not work ok system performance even after Gog.Galaxy update is done and reboot gaming laptop?
Please no teasing suggestion like play only on your desktop I know I can do that thanks.
I have also gaming desktop the reason I own 2 computers is due to work reasons I have had need to travel a lot and a laptop is easy to take with you on travel.
