Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Suggestions & Feedback Cross-Platform Version-aligned Patches

Hi. 3 of my friends and I bought the game to play together - all via Steam. Some are MacOS users and some Windows users. Unfortunately the game (or maybe Steam?) will not let us play together because the patch/version numbers of the game on each operating system do not align. If that is the _only_ reason we cannot play together, I'd love to see Larian release version-aligned patches. If there is some deeper reason Windows/MacOS users cannot play together, well then I guess we are out of luck for some time, but if it's just the version numbers there has to be an "easy" solution. Thanks.
