Its not that they are giving another persons character something mine wont have... more they are giving one build i plan on playing a huge boost compared to others i will be playing...

A simple +1 to start or to even +3 or +4 "enchantment" bonus any build could use seems the better way to go... not to mention they seem(imo) to in various ways use smaller/more manageable numbers in 5e... but in this world, heres your +10 stat item at level 2... like i said though not the end of that world but huh?... ;D


It's always possible the item is where it is, just to test out the mechanics of stats boosting gear, and won't actually be available in the final game until much later.
