To OP: Having advantage is the same whether or not you are sneak attacking, or shooting from highground or backstabbing them. Its the same benefit which is advantage on rolls. There is no special sneak attack. The skill is just called sneak attack, its not the attack. Backstab is just attacking an enemy from behind them which grants advantage but its not related to sneaking.
Eating while in combat is a DOS2 carry over mechanic, it's not related to D&D.
Yes I agree this game is way too unbalanced and easy. They should really make saves matter so it doesn't become a zombie fest and encourage save scumming which is hard not to resort to.
