I'd really really like to see some casual clothing implemented in game. The armor options we have are wicked, but it'd be nice to see my Tav and co back at camp in some more relaxed wear. It's insane to think they all just wear their armor 24/7. Plus, in some cutscenes, specifically the romance one, it's kinda funny to see you and your lover romping around in full sets of armor. I mean, by the time Astarion and my Tav actually get naked for fun times, it's been over an hour of unbuckling buckles and shucking off chain armor.

Please give us everyday clothing! Some fancy doublets like Astarion's default clothing would be nice, but I'm talking some easy peasy tunics and whatnot.

Wizards also need it. Custom made garments should be the norm in Baldur's Gate itself and certainly garments can have story-based effects, such as how you are perceived at a banquet or some other noble gathering.

Agreed! I'd flip if we could custom design clothing in this game. Or at least, change the colors of what we have so far. lol

I was thinking along the lines of picking a basic design, fabric style, and colors - though perhaps as you lead me back to my words you can mix and match pieces, such as collars, waistcoats, sleeves, etc. I doubt Larian will do that much, but it would be nice.

It's a nice little detail, I like it. Although I think they probably have that planned already. Perhaps when city maps are available.

Hey, that's what went as foreplay in medieval times!

Due to the fact that my first rpg videogame was Daggerfall, I totally support the original poster suggestion.

The casual clothing made me able to really differentiate between my characaters, I had thos that loved formal dresses, those who use dresses that didin't allow an inch of skin to be see, those who love just loincloths and thongs (males) or bikinis (females), also there was the chance to have plain clothes to use under the armor (because armor was intended as something you wear upon your clothes, while in BG armor are clothes for battle).

I would not say that the camp in the middle of the forest is predisposed to wearing "home" clothes...you can be attacked literally at any moment, this is not a city, I think it would be appropriate only in the city.

Casual clothing, umm, no.
Just make the skins for armor, robes, etc. a bit more 'beautified,' maybe?
Heh.

Again: to have them won't influence anyone's playstyle.

Don't you like casual clothing? Don't use it [That's what I do in The Elder Scroll Online where there are a lot of casual clothing appearances, for th major part of my playthrough my characters only use and show armor].

Do you like them but think that to chance in camp could be dangerous? Again it's up to you to decide whether to change clothes to your character or not to do it.

I do love to have the chance not to do something (like the arsh or violent or unpolite dialogue options: I'm unable to use them, I don't like to be gross or violent not even in games, still I love the fact that they are there as an option)

Weirdly enough, I think maybe implementing a transmorging thing like from Diablo could work for us styling characters. Just add some casual clothes and if we pick them up we unlock that "style" and an NPC in our camp could cast an illusion on our equipment to make it look a certain way, so you could have your armor appear like just a dress or suit?

This i want almost as much as getting rid of the companions. Specially for Sorcs and wizards some cool clothing with coloring options.

I fully agree with you here after all even though your safe at camp you're out in the world where there is danger everywhere and no telling when an attack will come.
