Halsin died while fighting the drow in the goblin fort, so after the fight was over I used a scroll of Revivify on him and continued to the fight against the hobgoblin leader. After finishing in the fort, Halsin told me he would go back to the sanctuary and he can help me there. When I arrived he continued to act normal, but when I talked to Rath about getting the reward, he acted like Halsin was dead, and despite him returning to the sanctuary the game didn't appear to register he had been revivified.

Is it supposed to be impossible to revivify important non-party NPCs and him being alive was a bug, or was the rest of the game treating him as if he was still dead the bug? Whichever way it is supposed to be is fine, but as is it is annoying. I'm not sure if this was just a glitch on my own game or if this is widespread.

I hope its the second option ...
For the sake of logic we should be able to resurect anyone ... even if that would make some throubles.

I would also love to be able to revivify non esential NPC ...
I really vant to help Kanon. frown

I still dont understand why cant we change Race for our hirelings. frown

I reported this as a bug a while ago, hope they fix it before release. Somebody just forgot to clear a flag in the logic.

Ugh sounds awful.

I used 3 scrolls of reviving on Lae'zel and she kept showing up dead on return to camp. Finally spent coin with the skeleton to revive her that way, which has stuck.

The giant pool of blood however by her tent- still there.
