I feel like exploring everything completely, if I know which way to go in order to progress the story I will first go anywhere and everywhere except where I need to go and save that for last, I also go around in circles: into the underdark, out of the underdark through a different exit, into the underdark again through a third entrance, did the same thing with Fort Joy in DOS2, escaped it and entered it again multiple times. Basically I find every single possible alternative solution and route in a single playthrough. I hate myself for it but at the same time I just can't stop. It becomes super silly sometimes, if there are two routes to reach my destination I will explore the first route and right before I reach my destination, right before clicking to go to the next area, I will backtrack all the way back and explore the second route, like i already know that I will use both routes that Halsin suggests.
