As your comments tend to be thoughtful, I am certain romance and sex is not synonymous with you. But I think A LOT of gamers want the combination. It's the reason why gratuitous sex scenes are becoming more common place in games. The old adage still stands, "sex sells".

It's not just my mind. Romance leads to love, love leads to the union of the souls and bodies. Sure it doesn't have to be, but let's face it, most people do work that way.

It's strange, I enjoy adult games that focus on explicit adult content sometimes, but seeing sex scenes in an rpg like this is just weird. I'd much rather have small moments of closeness, a hand touch, a hug, even just a nudge is much more meaningful in a video game romance than a sex scene imo. Feeling like you're actually getting close to a character instead of just a one night stand.

About Shadowheart: I think, her approval might be a bit broken. She, Wyll and Gale approve everytime, I pet Scratch. I didn't really notice that last playthrough, since I did get Scratch very late in game and didn't rest that much, but I think it makes earning approval with those characters a bit too easy. Shadowheart is already high and I just entered the goblin camp.
Ok, I did do quite a few things, she approved off, like saving some kids, being nice to the boar and the owlbear, resisting in the dreamvision... but still. At least, I found out a bit more about her this playthrough.
