And how about there is nothing so magic, so mystic and so deep about that ...
When you dont betray Minthara, when you raid the groove with her, and when you kill them all ... after celebration ... she attack you.
And then, if you manage to talk her out ... and convince her that she really dont want to mess with you, she tells you litteraly:
"Do not return to the goblin camp, as far as they know you were destined to die tonight."
So, when you take that information to context ...
Both goblin leaders at least, and possibly every single goblin knows, that you leave with Minthara to find, and raid the groove ... where you either die in battle, or will be dealt with by herself personaly.
Anyway, there is no outcome, where you can get back from that raid alive and well, and being welcomed.
So this in mine opinion makes perfect sence ... but there actualy is a odd permutation!
And its when you DONT betray Minthara, you raid the groove, you loot every single corpse you can, and then you teleport in goblin camp to sell those things ... i admit that last time i did that was before patch, so that may be solved by now ... but when i did that, goblins were friendly.
