Maybe it would be nice to see in Devine 2 that you have to eat drink and sleap.
At the moment you can't camp outside to get your health back, and the food is used you restore health.
So it would be nice in DD2 if you have to eat and drink and sleap to stay alive and not to get your health back.
or ?

I have been frozen in my seat on many occasions not wanting to move my mouse for fear of what might happen next, I’ve heard sounds and voices so clear that I was becoming unsure if they were actually coming from the speakers

Too much realism for a divine one. If you can drink potions with magical properties to gain more health, then those potions suffice for keeping you alive. Eating that big chunk of meat gives you some health, too, but we all know it just fools your stomach, right?

Also, you can in a way camp outside, provided that you have two stacks of hay or straw from the farms. Put one stack down, click on it once, and put another one down on top of the first one. There you go, camp anywhere. Or you could use the instant portable bed.

And you can sleep in the Thug Leader's camp while the leader is standing over you with his sword ready! Mmmm... realism.

Or....you could disembowel him on the spot,
and have HIM take the bed instead of you!

In the Realms of Arcania series you even had to feed your own characters. At least in the first installemt(s) of this three-game series.

They might also try making encounters more realistic. If you're sleeping in a monster-infested area, there should be a higher chance that your sleep will be interrupted by an evil little goblin, so to speak whereas if you're sleeping in a peaceful little inn, you're chances of encountering a monster would be nil or zero.

yes, but in most inns u cant sleep, u should be able to like get half of ur health and stuff back up, and take half the time, by sitting in a chair, like the sims, an energy rating.

That's pretty good. Have each bed provide a different quality of healing. Inn beds are the best, straw beds, the worst. You can only sleep at night and sleep until morning or until a monster wakes you. And not sleeping causes your stamina to recharge more slowly until it becomes negative (drains automatically). And while food heals you, the lack of food harms you. You get little messages like "I'm feeling hungry." "I'm starving." "Divine Wizard needs food, badly!"

Don't worry about the set-up time. They take up space in your backpack and aren't as good as an inn. That should be enough balancing.

yes, or a house, and u should be able to buy a mansion in this one. the biggest house I got was the assassins guild, nice. had veridtsis, buisnesses, lots of rooms, enemys cant go there, a way to the sewer, lots of room for loot, and by the merchants guilds library, and the verdistis teleporter.
