In regard to the OP, sounds like you want the Teifling models to look significantly different from the Cambion and for the drow to be one dimensional. Everyone thinks the Githyanki are alien since they're even more foreign than teiflings and the like, not to mention their supremist attitude. The singular Mind Flayer that escaped the overmind is not a lore shattering creature.
