[color:"orange"]Thanks JVB, these are good points to ponder...[/color]
you could try, but there are a few things we all had to learn, so i tell you in advance:
DONT be a very overpowerd char that kills everything in a sec, and solves all the fights alone.
really takes away the fun for others.
Dont take a too leading role in the story, again for the same reason.
If someone sees 20 of your posts on a page, while all the others have made 0/1 post, it isn't fun anymore for them.
Something we also did wrong often:
Advancing to fast.
Be away for a day and have to read that your char lost all his items and is 20,000,000 kilometers along the road, without any possibility to write anything from their perspectives.
Thats the reason i left the group sometimes, just be able to chill out, write in my own pace and with all the detail i want.
And dont use the thing about your family murdered, jolie has already used this, copyright you know <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
You could try writing one of the bad guys btw.
So the group has some non npc resistance....
Remember what BG did? that was good, we didn't know what he would do, and we wee put for suprises.
Better then someone thinking when he is posting: "And now i will let the monster do this, so i can do that, so he will do this.." Etc.
just my 2 cents..
do with it as you wish <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
