Intel Core I7 2600K Sandy Bridgy 4 cores 8 thread overclocked to 4,4 GHz.
12 GB DDR3 RAM
GTX 980TI
and want to run this game at 1440p and max. Ok he does not have 16 RAM, but 12 RAM as better then 8 RAM.

I ran on MAX FULL HD (my display have max FULL HD) with this computer and it is not new computer I did pay it in year 2018.

Motherboard: MSI X470 GAMING PLUS, Socket-AM4 Motherboard, ATX, X470, DDR4, 3xPCIe-x16,
CFX, 2x M.2, USB 3.1, Mystic Light RGB

GPU: Nvidia 1070 Titanium 8GB DDR5

RAM: 16 GB to be more exact:
G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4 16GB KIT 3200Mhz
2x8GB, PC25600/3200Mhz, 16GVBK, CL 16

SSD: Samsung 860 EVO 500 GB, 2,5

HDD:Separately have none SSD hardrives one of them new:
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5'' HDD

Power: Seasonic Focus+ 650W 80+ GOLD PSU ATX 12V, 80 Plus Gold, Modular

OS: Windows 10

Please note my brother has not yet bought this game and test to play ALPHA. I have bought the game and I am content how this run on max graphics. None of us use 4k resolution. I use FULL HD (due to my display) my brother use 1440p.

I am happy that for max graphics you do not need some uber high end Nvidia 3000 graphic card that you really want in Cyberpunk 2077 which has pretty insane system requirement if you set example RAY TRACING to PSYCHO (which is higher then ULTRA) and everything max on 4k resolution.

Ok this game has not RAY TRACING. That said it has still better graphics then many other DD games out there.

I am pleased you can run this game at max settings with fairly old hardware and that the max graphics look good enough to me.
