I'm finding just within the first hour of gameplay multiple items with their own inventory will stop being interactable. I.E. cannot be dropped, cannot be opened, cannot be placed. The only thing i can do is throw the containers breaking them and the items spill out. So far this has happened with a Barrel & with a Backpack. Very frustrating as i enjoy bringing as much as i can back to camp for decoration purposes. :P.
