I played through the game as a high elf. There weren't many elf dialogue options for a high elf, and I would like more added. smile

There aren't many for Human either -- I only had a couple with Auntie Ethel show up.

I use to be huge in dnd lore. I remember that elves have almost a telepathic sense with other elves. It's why to other races they seem very private. Elves are really one big family except drow. Also why half elves are seen as weird since they can't tap in either. Some elves even questioned if the elvish soul is lost in the half breed. If bg3 and even wotc stuck to lore I'd say they could bring that out.

Great idea! I wish they would add that.

Yeah elves use to be really unique. Elvish high magic was greater than any wizard could hope for. They see magic differently than wizards. Sometimes they invited arch wizards for greater rituals. It was considered an honor. Wizards had to be guided and just take in the experience since they couldn't "tap in". They also use to serve as guardians for powerful magic secrets and dangerous high magic area's like gates to dangerous realms. Sometimes some idiot would steal something and elvish assassins made that mo fo disappear along with all the research.

Elvish high magic was crazy. The elves even stole a literal piece of their heaven. Thats not even talking about trance, the feywild, and Corellon The elf god.

In bg3 they are just humans with pointy ears. With the constant dumbing down, retcons, and homogenization; I doubt we will get a chance to explore all the wasted lore. I gave up.Lol

Probably because Humans are so common and vanilla in the entire world that no one is phased by their presence for the most part, ergo no reaction to them.

More like bcs Humans dont have enough common signs ...
You know what i mean ... Human from Sword Coast is not the same as Human from Wild Coast, wich is not the same as Human from Dragonmere, wich is not the same as Human from Moonsea.
(I dont even know if there is any humans setlements, i just picked some locations from here)

Also keep in mind that when you play human, you are from Baldurs Gate, every dialogue options you have bcs of that is hidden behind [Baldurian] ...
Wich also have Dwarfs, since they are also from Baldurs Gate, but also have differend Dwarven herritage, since every dwarf is commonly known as miner and crafter. Wich is what Humans are simply not, bcs they all are sooooo different. :-/

Therefore i dont think that you see condition [Human] before dialogue options, bcs there is little written to them, but bcs there is so little to connect them all. :-/

I still dont understand why cant we change Race for our hirelings. frown
Lets us play Githyanki as racist as they trully are! frown
