I recently bought BG2EE on steam when there was a half price offering.
I hadnt played BG2 since probably before 2005.
But oh boy what a gem of a game it still is.
Quite surprised even though I had expected it to be good.
Ah, those rose-tinted glasses are still on I see. BG2 is good for its classic story with a few enjoyable characters and party banter. Gameplay is way outdated. Production values are abysmally low compared to current gen games. BG2EE does next to nothing to improve on this.
