I'm in a wait and see mode.
On one hand, against table top, wildshape will definitely become stronger due to lesser resting restrictions.
On the other hand, we are showered with magical items in BG3. This might make using a wildshape far less attractive depending on what they allow you to carry over, item effect wise.
