Thats how its supposed to work.. a wild shape form is unofficially like temporary HPs, the forms HP is worked through first, if it reaches 0 it gets shifted back to regular form . The druids HP is separate from the forms HP. its why in the dice and paper game druid has the best capstone of any other class. Like say your normal form is 50hp and your in a form with 25 hp left from 45hp, if you then took 30 damage you would be knocked out of form and the remaining 5 damage gets taken up by the druids HP pool bringing your normal form HP pool to 45 of 50hp. The druid capstone gives you the ability to cast spells without need of verbal, somic, or material components in or out of forms, and it gives you unlimited uses of wildshape. Also if you wildshape out of a form before you reach zero in the form , or if you take exactly the damage to hit zero in a form you take no damage in normal form. And as i said its "unofficially " like temporary HP while in a form, it isn't really temporary HP, but works functionally like it, but since it isn't you can add false life or something to you before you shift and add temporary HPs to your druid's wild shapes HP pool.
