I don't have those graphic problems, but I can't use the hotbar on my druid. I have to open teh character menu to use anything - what's up with that?

Try verifying your game files and see if this fixes the issue for you.

The patch notes say Zariel’s tieflings now know how to use Searing Smite.

Searing Smite is a Paladin spell.

How do I do that?

If you're on Steam - right click the game in your library, click properties, select "local files" and then there will be a "verify integrity of game files" button.

With the GOG version, in the (optional) Galaxy client, select the game, then the settings icon at the top right (beside the Play button) and under Manage Installation select 'Verify / Repair'.

I did that and did get no error , but it still is not working.

Do you have any mods installed?

Not at the moment, but there might be files. I have deinstalled the game, erased all files, that were still there and am now reinstalling.

<< Mac user.... I know and if they ever restock the new 3080 rtx I would build a new pc.
however at this im stuck with the mac and the limited games it plays.

before installation of patch 4 game ran great. after installation game loads to a white screen and locks up. I also had it load and be completely yellow tinted. you can hear the audio play in the background.

Yikes, d20s don’t produce a bell curve. Let’s just hope Jess misspoke and it’s not a fundamental lack of understanding at Larian. I wonder if someone will be able to reproduce Niara’s RNG analysis and see if we’re still getting the sine wave, with and without loaded dice turned on.

Seriously, you guys are doing a great job...am in awe of the studios being created seemingly for this game! You guys are really pouring on the resources which is fantastic to see! I fully imagine you will exceed every expectation I had for this game...I think you are on the way to making not just the Game of the Year (it ships), but very likely the game of the decade! This is making me very happy to have gone with the EA!

GOG's Galaxy has just told me that the patch is installed and ready to play...so I'll see you guys in X hours!

okay so it looks like its a full screen bug on the mac... i was able to switch it to window mode and the UI popped up!!!

I was about to ask you if rebooting your Mac might make a difference, after patch installation--assuming you haven't done that already.

it's a subrace feature - it's in the sourcebook
