Aside from needing a way to cancel concentration on this spell after combat so it can be traversed through I'd suggest making Spiked Growth do 2d4 damage instead of just the 1d4. Its taking literally half of the damage away from the spell and seems unnecessarily harsh.
I found that using someone from the party to knock me the f... out works best to end concentration. Works much like in real life. laugh
