(And if someone else made the suggestion in the reddit thread, I don't want to steal their thunder, just don't have time to read the whole thing.)

It would be super convenient if we could assign a custom tool tip to backpacks/pouches in inventory with labels like "Potions","For Undead","Drow Loot", "Poison Mitigation" and other custom labels that would pop up when hovered over. That way we could use backpacks and pouches for organizing inventory suited to our individual play style. Or perhaps choose a specific icon superimposed on the backpack icon based on one of the items stored in the pouch.

Alternatively, if the contents of the backpack popped up when hovered over, that would help too, though it might be mildly annoying when perusing inventory.

That's Amazing. I never had imagined we could use these items to sort our inventory. I'll try it tomorrow.

About your suggestion I'd rather like to have specific container (with a specific visual so you can easily know what it's for) than 16 backpak with labels.

- scroll case
- potion
- quiver
- idk what for food
- idk what for plants

I learned something great today... In Baldur's Gate 3 we can have full backpack inside our backpack... Great but... Strange... Again.

@Maximuus that's not a bad plan, but too often at mid to high levels I find myself staring at a potion pouch full of a bazillion potions with no way to know what each one is for. Even if they have custom icons, I probably only know the most common ones, but I really, really need to find that potion of reduce person right flippin' now. I envision something more suited to purpose. For example, a bag for undead slaying with holy water, scrolls/potions of restoration, alchemist's fire, maybe a holy/silver weapon, etc. All different types of items, but geared to a specific purpose grouped together in a single container.
