Is there a way to slaughter all the druids violently and let the Teiflings live or get the grove.
I want it to be bloody and awful... like the burning of Teldrassil.
Please, make this an option. Safe the Teiflings, torture the druids to death.
Yes, that should definitely be an option, I do not see why PC wouldn't be able to do this.
Some time ago I made a thread about Act 1 overall which included the possible story solution for the whole problem.
I have spent quite a long time talking with Ragnarok and we've made a few good ideas, let me quote what Ragnarok said about it:
On the other hand, in some other topics at this theme, i allready mentioned that i would like to see "some" Tieflings not being killed during attack.
Personaly i would like to see groove wiped out, and every armed Tiefling dead ... then civilians with kids being driven into a corner ... either in prison, or "dragon cave", or in Zevlor's cave, w/e it dont matter so much in the end ... and then Minthara let us decide their faith:
- Sell them to slavery ... either to Zhentarim, or to Underdark ... with conciderable cut for us, ofcourse.
- Sacrifice them for the absolute ... either right there, or send them to Moonrise Towers ...
- Give them to goblins, to kill/torture/eat.
- Execute them all at once personaly.
- Let them go, to spread word of what happened here ... with possibility to send goblins after them.

https://forums.larian.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=748888&page=2Im affraid you cant take the groove for tieflings, they allways leave.
Even if thing goes wrong and you are forced to murder all druids (for several possible reasons), they simply go to Baldur's Gate after goblin problem is solved.
You can always save the Tieflings and when they are gone after the party, go back to the grove and wipe out the druids.
Don't you have to save Halsin and kill the goblin bosses to do that, though?
You do ... but that does not matter, players find something Larian didnt think about.
They joined Tieflins, saved the groove (Halsins survival is irellevant in this scenario), then celebrated ... and next day simply walked in the groove and start killing ... no story included, no EA consequences present (even if you have Halsin in camp, he wont react) ... no reasons to do that, but you certainly can.
That's why I have said many times before that we need more options when it comes to choices concering the whole druid grove conflict. Currently doing anything besides either attacking/defending the grove often gets the game stuck, since it wasn't implemented. (I hope that it will be actually done)
For example helping Minthara but knocking her out afterwards. She talks non-stop about the party in the camp, but it never happens. She is also still going to sit inside the place where Zevlor was before.
Or somehow failing to persuade Minthara/attacking her outright, fighting her, knocking her out -> every time you return the camp, she is wanting to fight. You can cause infinite amount of fights if you keep knocking her out.
Luckily this isn't the case with Halsin anymore, but he just disappears. I hope that we can meet him some time later, possibly at Moonrise Towers.
Besides, there is a little reason why we wouldn't be able to influence the siege, how it plays out, then if Halsin/Minthara even die (PC roleplaying alignment opposite to them can still let them live simply because Minthara knows a lot about the Absolute and Halsin is a expert when it comes to healing and tadpoles, both also have personal reasons to deal with the Absolute)
There are few more situations like this, where we should have a choice of what to do with the character (or characters). Spare them? Finish them off? Capture them for information or possibly to turn them to our side? Something else? It really depends on situation and who it is.
After all using tadpole power to make Goblins ignore certain area where Tieflings hide for example (and convince them using same magic that there is noone there and that all of Tieflings are dead) wouldn't be that bad. Or just persuading Minthara to one of options described by Ragnarok above.
