What we want to get:
1. Having Brynna and Andrick survive and either send them to Goblin Camp or on the Road again. Either you sent them away at Edowins Body or in the Cave.
2. Get the Owlbear cub without Killing his Mum
3. Get second half of Spear from Body of Owlbear Mum
1. Do all the talk to Edowin so you get Brynna and Andrick believe you are a True Soul.
They will go to the cave when you tell them Edowin needs to be avenged.
Join them and enter Cave. They will stay before the Owlbearmum and waiting for you there. Normally you have a lot of hussle sometimes to help them both stay alive in the fight.
But we dont want to fight the Owlbearmum. Dont Move close to Andrick and Brynna or else you Start next Animations with Owlbear Mum etc.
So what we do is sneaking in with our best Dextery based character to the Owlbearnest from behind area where the Seluneshrine is.
We will initiate an animal Talk with Owlbear Mum and after that we want to Steal Egg, bec. why not and might be usefull later in game, when not used as Lure for Fight.
When everything gone fine, you will have stolen the Owlbear EGG from the Nest and this character is registered as having beeing close to the Owlbear Mum bec. we talked to her or stole Egg.
You need to be registered for a Textoption from Andrick.
After that you go to Andrick and when you talk to him with with the character who stole the Egg, he will tell you how you could get so close and you will then have options to send them away agaon or to stay hold.
So you want to sent them away and you must decide for future reference when Full Game is released in what kind of manner you want to have them meet again with you. On the Road to Baldurs Gate or as enemys in Goblin Camp.
(Whereas when you have them in Goblin camp and poison the Goblins, there might be another option too because both of them stay in another position after Goblins have been poisend.)
Theres one Problem: When you send them away in the Owlbear Cave, they both start running into the direction of the Owlbear and thereby initiate fight. Make both of them invisible and make use of Turnbasedmode to avoid starting fight.
Now to our EGG Thief. Before you steal Egg start an Animal Talking with Owlbear Mum. Talk about her beeing hurt and want to help. But leave when she wants you to leave. That way you can rest your mind that you at least tried the peacefull route there and registered for Andrick seeing you talk to her.
2. When you send both of them away successfully, you can freely leave the Owlbears without doing anything more.
After at least a nights sleep you go to Goblin camp and will find the Owlbearcub there. If you go to Cave you will see some new Goblintracker bodyxs there and ther Dead Owlbearmum. Pick up second half of that Spear from here body.
In the Goblin camp you can initiate the Chicken chase and when you win and talked to Owlbearcub you can give him a scent so he knows where your camp is.
Tell the Goblin from Chickenchase Game that you want the Owlbearcub too as prize and everythings gone fine.
Voila, you didnt kill the Owlbear Mum and you freed the Cub.
