I am trying a Githyanki wizard and she calls me the same as all the other races; wonder if that is intentional?

I just rolled as a githyanki druid and had the same question. She then turns around and talks to you like a fellow githyanki by referring to Shadowheart as an istik.

Yeah. They need to work on her yellow Githyanki dialogue. I have a Gith Ranger who I was trying to make a romance with her, and she treats him no better than my Half-Drow, explaining every little thing to him with contempt without a care that he's the same race.

My Gith should also have more options to say things to the companions that are similar to what Lae'zel says, like teaching them about creches and urging them to find one. Why does my Gith act like a clueless moron?

Her dialogue is gith-specific only in few instances, most of the time it is the same as for other races, and this creates a weird narrative dissonance. Shadowheart pays more attention to your character being a githyanki than Laezel.

True. So true. I was sorely disappointed as the Gith is the most unique race right now but not very unique gameplay-wise at all. 😔

I'm sure there will be a lot more acknowledgement of playing as Gith in the full version.
Or at least less failure of Laezel to remember you are one
