So I discovered this issue by accident. I had to go to the bathroom and paused the game (hit escape). After about 5-10 minutes, I resumed play and the screen started tearing as soon as I moved. I tried saving my game, exiting to main menu, and loading my game again but then would get artifacts that got worst and worst as I played. The only solution was to completely quit and restart the game. This has happened to me now about 2-3 times, each time after pausing the game for 5+ minutes.
I'm running the game on Vulkan.
