+2 str +1 cha dragonborn
+2 str +1 con half orc
Shield dwarf already gives +2 str +2 con but different racial traits...also larger size for half orcs as a + towards a large brutal warrior and racials are slightly better overall for an offensive character however on the down side they bring less to the table in some cases to other classes than the shield dwarf or in case of discussion dragonborn. Making them feel less oo la la as an add but they would fit really well to adding barbarian as barbarian and fighter really are where the half orc shines as a game addition.
Dragonborn with the +2 str and +1 cha fit really well for paladin being added however there versitility extends further being usable for sorcerer, bard, warlock and also for fighter and barbarian classes. They kind of give you alot of options you can play with for choices. The breath weapon lets them experiment with its power of having a race with ranged attack at low levels. They do have that bulky build that you could test a larger warrior whos brutish and savage with a monstrous appearance but then same time you can also fit them into a strong paladin or interestingly enough hex blade as a potential class which i do see being added at some point but not crossing my fingers or you could see them work into a interesting bard build. They also give another option for when sorcerer comes out. Being able to pick all the different shades of dragon colors for skin color is nice too. Id like to see them make sure to keep skin tone with color of the breath weapon but im not sure that will happen. Scales and a like slightly primal appearnce to different dragon types would in there face would be really nice but id like to see it stay similar to phb and not see larion turn them into lizards basically. But wont really see till they do come out. They need to look draconic to feel like dragonborn.
Biggest issues I see with Half-Orc while it does need to come in vs Dragonborn is popularity and what does it bring vs what is already there. Its a different option that doesnt overlap as much in choice as it doesnt with Half-Orc. If i could id like to see both come out with corresponding classes.
