My multiplayer partners all abandoned the idea, so I decided to play through the game in the single-player mode. I spent about 10 hours playing the game, and so far, it's been really amazing. I freed some girl goblin and followed her back to her village, stopping along the way to murder an ogre and a bugbear who were in the act of copulation -- presumably because I was jealous. The goblin got fed to the spiders, sadly. (There was no way to save her without caring, and I refused to care.) All the village warriors, led by an evil Lolth-sworn drow, raided the town. In a furious act of running away, taking cheap shots, blocking numerous monsters with grease and killing the remainder, and dashing and hiding, I was able to slay the whole raiding party, losing three unimportant tieflings in the process. Great times, Larian. Oh, and I sent the dog to my camp, where he receives a lot of pets.
