I just did a quick 5 min RL time test.
I talked to one npc and the dialogue time said 5:36. Then I waited for 5 minutes(on my clock not a stopwatch so roughly 5 minutes) and talked to 3 other npcs right beside. The new times were 5:59, 5:59 and 6:01. This was in the grove. It appears that 5 minutes IRL is roughly 30 minutes in game out of combat.
