My team does a lot of multiplayer and we had seen this before - in oddly the same circumstances.

I was above the target (Advantage) using a crossbow to attack them. Got a critical miss - no re-roll shown. I suspect for some reason Advantage and Lucky are cancelling each other out.

Attack Roll 1(Critical)(1D20, Advantage) + 2 (Archery Bonus) + 2 (Proficiency) + 4 (Dexterity Modifier) = 9 This was against an 8 AC.

Given Advantage and "Lucky" racial - an actual miss should be almost impossible here since you would have to roll four 1's in a row.

I would encourage you guys to make sure as much info is shown in the combat logs. a lot of us do look through them to make sure the outcomes are correct.
