Well, I guess it just needs to be a matter of faith, given that Larian simply isn't saying jack shit about it.

Party control in Baldur's Gate 3 is a complete mess that begs to be addressed. SAY NO TO THE TOILET CHAIN

Larian Studios have very good experience with early access and we saw the positive result of that in the final version of e. g. DOS2.

BG3 EA only shows us part of chapter 1 like they did with DOS2 EA. I don't think they want to reveal more of the story in EA. We need something to look forward to. smile

Adding new classes in EA is a good thing in my opinion because Larian Studios get valuable playtesting of the class without having to reveal more of the game. Players get a chance to try out their favorite class like all the ones who had looked forward to the druid.

The change I look forward to the most is increasing the level cap from 4 to 5. We have enough content in EA to get to level 5 without problems. Then Larian Studios can get testing data a new set of spells, melees with 2 attacks per turn and so on. That could help them balance the game even further.

EA playtesting has improved the game experience quite a bit so far based on feedback from the players. That will help us in the final game.

I believe Larian Studios are now working hard on adding content that will not be part of EA. They want to release the final version as soon as they can.

Personally I got what I needed in EA and that was a glance of what BG3 has to offer. I liked most of what I saw and some issues I had are fixed. Still there is room for improvement as Solasta has shown. E. g. Solasta has a more user friendly GUI in my opinion. Now I'm patiently waiting for the final version to be released of both games. Well, maybe I will try EA again if my favorite class paladin is released in a future patch. smile

If I want to give some advise to Larian Studios then it is to have online demos of playing sessions of the current version they have. Thus giving us a glimpse of what we can look forward to without revealing too much. E. g. they can demonstrate a side quest from chapter 2 when they players are level 8 or something. Doing that would help keeping the interest in the game towards the final release. Sven loves to show us new content. wink
