Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General I can't jump

I just bought the game, literally just got it, I'm on the first level, in the ship and whilst I know how to jump, the game is not doing it. Every video I've watched just has you point and click with the jump button but that isn't working for me. Can anyone help, please? I know it's early access but I'd like to be able to get past the first level.

Nevermind it turns out it was a bug. My game crashed not long after.

Is it saying "not enough space"?
Experiment with your position relative to where you're trying to jump. Sometimes you just have to stand a tiny bit closer?

Right. Get to the very edge and then try jumping and move the target around close to the opposite edge. If your character doesn't have good jump, they may not be able to jump that far.
