On buffing and stuff like that, technically religious classes already get those through channel divinity. They are not permanent buffs but they are a channeling of their faith. Additionally all their spells are faith based. HOWEVER, I wouldn't mind camp activities happening even if they don't give anything mechanically. Religious characters praying, a Ranger skinning a boar, a wizard studying in the corner with books, I feel like just showing them do this stuff would do a lot for making the camp feel more alive.

I would much rather have everyone gathered around the fire during camp scenes. Nearly all the dialogue in the entire game is the Player having a one-on-one conversation with an NPC. Of course, everyone (including people you thought were still at camp) is listening in and texting Tav an emoji to let them know whether they approve or disapprove of what Tav is saying during their private one-on-one conversation. It would be nice for the camp to at least be a chance to see everyone interacting with each other as a group, rather than just see each individual interact with the player in a one-on-one exposition feeding.
