What is wrong about Barbarian having a keep? O_o
I mean sure, stronghold is probably better word, but havent you played Heros of Might and magic? Barbarians there totally had keeps. O_o
I would say as long as Barbarian's keep is purely practical with no unnecesary decorations ... maybe except some skulls, pelts, spiked heads and simmilar barbarian stuff ... i could imagine them in keep quite easily.
