If you keep buying the crazy stuff from El'Gammon, you will be rewarded eventually. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> Oh, only do it if you have money to spare!

Another insider joke : El'Gammon (here in the Forum as elgi) once began selling what ever he sold ONÖLY for the price of 500 ... whatever, gold, cookies, I don't know ...
That's why he sells everything for 500 Gold. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Well, 2000 gold is cheaper than the other spell books you can buy! I'd say it's a good deal. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Little correction: you need 2500 gold. Because you buy 5 items at 500 gold each. After that he gives you the skill. carpet-helm-mirror-sword (sting)-sword(unbreakable) The order isnt correct, but that should be the items (iirc).
It is still a lot cheaper than bying them from the merchants.
