+1 , coming to this from the old infinity games, I kinda miss (and like how the old games did) the feeling that my stats impact my dialogue, if I roll a not too intelligent brute as a wariori I want to see this reflected in his lines, if I roll a high intelligent wizzard I would like to be able to be all pedantic about it, and if I roll a high charisma bard I would like to be overly seductive prince charming. So far the options seem a bit bland and 'fixed' . And indeed, sometimes I just want to tell NPC's to f*ck off and see how the game reacts to it, if I don't like the outcome I'll simply reload.
See this example from the old BG series for instance, even if the options do not all lead to different outcomes at least I am allowed to RP as nice, snarky, or whatever. Also I like how they kinda 'broke trough the 4th wall' by offering this kind of 'meta-esque' choices from time to time.
