Because....food does heal people? Like.... If you're hurt you recover faster if you eat lol. Obviously a pizza won't close that open wound on your arm from a goblin arrow but you get the idea :P
Alt+ left click in the inventory on an item while the camp stash is opened transfers the item there. Make it a reality.
